| To
distribute hot samples of Bernard
Matthews’s products at
major retailers around the country,
raising brand awareness with
the consumers and retailers
alike, also to raise the profile
of certain products often in
conjunction with other marketing
tools such as TV advertising
campaigns and in-store promotions.

Two identical sampling units,
with the capability for producing
both cold or hot samples along
with the option to be able to
provide “Show Cooking”
where the Chefs could give cooking
demonstrations and recipe ideas
in the commercial standard mobile
kitchen, promotional staff were
armed with trays of samples
around the trailer and near
the store entrance. |

| Research
showed, that the pastries were
very well received, especially
once tasted. The Road Show increased
sales up lift by around 2000%
and was so successful, that
Bernard Matthews went on to
run eight other periods of activity
through PromoPower. |
