Objectives:
Ikea Re-launch Week!!! The objective was to welcome back their customers following a significant rebuild and deliver a high level of contact with the customers to raise their profile and communicate key messages about what was new and had change following said rebuild. They needed an entertaining and memorable way to interact with shoppers and entertain the children creating a friendly and fun environment.
Overview:
We focused on the theme and objectives with real attention to detail, from musicians to make-up, we dressed the ‘Bed Linen People’ in suits that we created from Ikea’s own quilt cover range. Viking Men were handing out information and freebies, Swedish Ladies interacted with customers and offered free food samples. Princess and the Pea were hiding in a room set for children to discover her and The Story Teller read to children while the Bed Linen People interacted with customers.
Results:
It was a blast, the actors and entertainers were amazingly wacky and enthusiastic, providing what was described as “beyond the normal standard of entertainment” and provided an event that was impressive and memorable making it a huge success. With the awareness, publicity and amount of customers that it attracted through the door, the day was a success and our client were extremely happy with the results.
